"In a realm divided by conflict, four traditional kingdoms and one technologically advanced district struggle to co-exist in peace. While nature suffers the consequences of the steam-powered society, the Odirian kingdoms have some ancient conflicts among themselves to be solved as well. Ashmoor's resources have become more scarce with each day passing. To further develop their technologies they've now come up with a new solution: the use of sacred Odirian magic. Will they succeed in harvesting the one thing the Odirians tried to hard to protect? And will the Odirian Kingdoms be able to set aside their own conflicts in order to defeat their common threat? Who's side will you choose? ONLY TIME WILL TELL.."

the story so far

Welcome to the realm of Odiria! We are a play by post, high fantasy, medieval meets steampunk and d&d inspired RPG that's aimed towards both Dutch and English roleplayers to explore. We offer a world in which, despite it's existing lore, there's plenty of space for member influence. The site welcomes roleplayers of all levels of experience, so even if you're totally new to this kind of roleplaying this is the perfect place for you to start! We're aiming towards making this a community where roleplayers - no matter their level of experience are able to creatively plot with their characters and other members.

Even though Time will tell is mainly focused on story telling and developing your characters, we decided to add a few (optional) things to make the RP somewhat more interesting for the thrill seekers among us. We offer several systems which will be able to completely turn the expectations of you character's journey upside down! Ranging from minor to major effectiveness to your character, these rolled threads can be an amazing tool to spice up your adventure. You might even find some legendary artefacts for your character to hold on to. All of these systems will use the roll of dice, and will be explained in full detail further in the Guidebook.

TWT's first storyline has begun! Gather your Avalon characters and find out what mysterious force is threatening the fallen kingdom in the an omen of shadow storyline.
Odiria's second IC festival, The festival of Frostcrown has come to an end.
The position of Governor/Governess of Lythrania has opened up again! Will you be the next one to watch over Lemuria's underwater city? For this role and several more, take a look at the High Positions thread.
Our first Secret Santa event was a great success! Event though we've left the Christmas spirit behind us, feel free to take a look at everyone's wonderful gifts. :^)

Updates

Half a year has passed since the opening of the forum and we're still thriving! The staff has expanded, many plots have been set in motion and both engagements and weddings are being arranged. Exciting! We're so thankful to have such a creative and active community to share the joy of writing within our world with. TWT wouldn't have been as fun without all of those unique characters!
